Simon Knight Joins as Managing Director

Last month, we shared the news that Radnor Hills has appointed Simon Knight as our new Managing Director, with founder, William Watkins, moving into a new role as CEO.

The appointment comes following two years of working together on a consultancy basis. Originally recommended to us by the Welsh Government, he has over 30 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with roles including Sales and Marketing Director for Burts Snacks, where he helped drive the business from an £11m to a £57m turnover. He has also worked for Mars Wrigley.

Simon is excited to be joining Radnor at such an interesting time, and plans to bring strategic and collaborative leadership to the company. Setting clear goals to get the best out of his team, he is confident the business has everything in place for continued growth and success.

Our CEO William Watkins is delighted to welcome Simon into the Radnor family, citing the new MD’s record of driving profitable growth, improving efficiency, and building customer relationships. As Radnor continues to grow, this leadership change will allow William to concentrate on long-term projects, while Simon focuses on the day-to-day running of the business.
